- gruyere cheese puffs (I don't know if the problem is the recipe, my oven or what... can't seem to get them right.
- matzo ball soup (like hockey pucks - I didn't make them though I was responsible for the too salty, too fatty, too dark stock)
- green beans w/ pine nuts (undercooked by me)
- gefilte fish (from a jar, which I enjoy)
- rice pilaf (from scratch, successful & very easy)
- eggplant mazto mina (basically eggplant parm, was okay)
- Sephardic meatballs (savory meatballs in a not-too-sweet sauce)
- chocolate flourless cake w/ raspberry coule (very nice)
- lambic
snacks
- Jarritos soda
