- chicken skewer
- goi cuon (summer roll)
- antipasto platters (chorizo , salami, roasted red peppers, home-grilled crostinis, prosciutto, drunken goat cheese, blue cheese, emmentaler, soppresseta)
- poached shrimp
- brussel sprouts w/ hog jowl bacon
- sauteed sugar snap peas (fresh from Elmwood, sweet!)
- fried alligator w/ remoulade (too tough for frying, it waylaid me as I was searching for tilapia)
- baked brie w/ rum sauce (melted its shape away but SO good. Cheese, liquor & sugar? Can’t lose)
- sauteed mushrooms (crimini, ceps/porcinis, lobster)
- spiced pecans (too heavy on the salt but addictive)
- salad (a touch of honey gave the basic lemon juice/olive oil dressing new life. Lettuces from Elmwood)
